Our Riesling Kremser Weinberge 2016 wins the Falstaff Kremstal CUP.

A total of fifty Rieslings were represented in the competition, which represents a very representative figure for the Kremstal DAC category in relation to the Kremstal Valley region and is an indicator of the quality of the 2016 vintage. Significantly, more than half of the submitted Rieslings were awarded 90 Falstaff points or more, and five wines were rated 92 points.

The winning wine was produced by Franz Türk, whose Riesling Kremstal DAC Kremser Weinberge brought everything that a juicy, youthful representative of this variety should bring; freshness, fruit and fine minerality.

Tasting note from Peter Moser: (the original German is below). "The Riesling Kremser Weinberge from the Türk winery brings everything with what a juicy, youthful representative of this variety should bring: freshness, fruit and a pleasant minerality."
