The frozen grapes were hand-picked on 4 Oktober 2010 at a temperature of minus 12.5°C.
Brilliant golden yellow, fresh citrus zest, pineapple and Christmas cake over hints of tobacco spice, fresh sweetness on the palate with a vibrant acidity, elegant and highly expressive, long finish.

Serving suggestion
The classic pairing for puddings, such as Salzburger Nockerln, Austrian ‘Mohntorte‘ poppyseed cake, nut cake and Germknödel - large sweet dumpling filled with a sweet plum sauce. The combination is best when the wine is more luscious than the dessert. A fine pairing to mature blue cheese, as well as to a cigar. Due to its lively freshness, it is a perfect match to goose liver terrine.
