Description

Delicate aromas of yellow apples, vanilla and subtle notes roasted hazelnuts. The yellow-fruit impression continues onto the palate, the wine has soft acidity, a compact, full-bodied structure and displays a supple texture through extended lees aging. Very well integrated roasted characters from oak aging. Lingering aftertaste with ripe fruity and smoky notes. Good clearing potential for up to 10 years.

This wine pair tremendously well with rich dishes and main courses, thanks to its harmonious texture and structured body. It may be best enjoyed with recipes that contain butter and cream, along with poultry and pork served with creamy sauces, cheese & pasta, cheese dumplings and spinach-filled ravioli. Shellfish also brings out the best in the wine.
