My Grüner Veltliner

Eckart Witzigmann and Franz Türk have put their heads together for this wine, to combine what they like most about Grüner Veltliner. It combines everything that makes up a versatile food companion.

Eckart Witzigmann, who originally comes from the Salzburg Gastein Valley, was voted Chef of the Century by Gault Millau and honoured by the New York Times as Chef of the Kings and Gods. He has always been a lover of the Austrian signature grape variety Grüner Veltliner.

The 2015 vintage proved to be the ideal year to begin this collaboration. Thanks to many hours of sunshine in connection with diligent nurturing of the vines, fully ripened, healthy grapes could be harvested and selected for the special requirements of “My Grüner Veltliner”. Also in terms of origin, the wine displays a unique profile. It is a genuine “Kremstal Valley“ wine, which shows varietal and site typicity.

In a seductive way, it combines the aromas of fragrant herbs, juicy fruits and spicy minerality. Freshness and drinkability are complemented by delicate fruits taste and complete this all-round wine experience. It is the work of two true perfectionists.
